Teresa Orlowski, actually Teresa Orłowska (born 29 July 1953 in Dębica) is a German actress, porn director and producer of Polish origin. She was one of the biggest European porn stars of the 1980s. She began acting as a performer in the early 1980s, was dubbed the "Porn Queen of Germany" and was the president and owner of Verlag Teresa Orlowski (VTO), which at one point in the 1990s was one of the largest adult companies in the world. It was quite an unexpected rise to fame for a Catholic girl from Poland who originally aspired to be a nun.
Early years
She was born on 29 July 1953 in Dębica. She grew up in Wrocław, in a traditional Roman Catholic Maduzia family. She was very religious and did not trouble her parents. She dreamed of a career as a veterinarian. In 1979, at the age of 26, she moved to Bochum[18]. She first worked as a waitress in a club in Wattenscheid, a district of Bochum, then in a bar at Duisburg Hauptbahnhof railway station.
Career
In 1981 in Germany she met photographer Peter Filip, who offered her a photo shoot. After six months, she left her job at the Ruhr Club. She soon began working with German porn producer and director Hans Moser (also known as Sascha Alexander and John Thompson),[19][20] whom she married in 1982.
In 1982, in Hanover, she and her then-husband founded their own label, VTO (Verlag Teresa Orlowski / Video Teresa Orlowski)[8][23][24]. It was one of the first adult companies to be managed by a woman as a corporate president, magazine publisher, writer, sex educator and performer. Headquartered in Hanover, Germany, "Media Park" consisted of two fully computer-controlled film studios, a computer animation department and a lithography department, as well as a huge warehouse that housed a reproduction centre where 250 video machines played tapes.
At age 30, she appeared in her first porn film Go For It (Go For It, 1983)[9]. In addition to editing the erotic magazine VTO, she began as a producer of hardcore films on VHS videotape in the Foxy Lady series, which Orlowski starred in. VTO conquered the international video market and Teresa Orlowski immediately became an international adult film star and was dubbed the "Porn Queen of Germany" and became an international adult film star[9][28]. Her films featured Blake Palmer, Christoph Clark, Gabriel Pontello, Peter North, Rocco Siffredi, Ron Jeremy, Tom Byron and Sean Michaels, among others.
In 1989, she took part in the video for the song "Bitte bitte" by the German band Die Ärzte, for which she and the band got into trouble in connection with an action initiated by the Federal Office for the Control of Content Threatening Minors (German: Bundesprüfstelle für jürgenreichte). Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Medien (BPjM)).
In 1990, she divorced Hans Moser, but continued to use the surname Moser thereafter. Meanwhile, Moser married British porn star Sarah Young.
Her first company went bankrupt in the 1980s, and she then set up her own television station in the early 1990s, broadcasting pornographic films. Although this satellite TV channel could only be accessed via a decoder, this action was against German law, which prohibits the broadcasting of pornographic material on television. The company had a turnover of more than DEM 20 million. Its films include the Jurassic Park parody Jurassic Fuck (1993).
It also starred in the Sat.1 crime thriller series Wolff's Territory (Wolffs Revier, 2000).
In 2005, after many financial problems, her last company New Age Communications went out of business. Orlowski, unwilling to give an affidavit regarding the uncovered loans and debts of Inkasso, left Germany.
Since August 2013 she has taken up residence in an exclusive villa in Marbella, Spain. If she travels to Germany again, she will be arrested for fraud.
